Our "Brick & Mortar" Store and Science Entertainment & Education Center are located inside of Francis Scott Key Mall, Frederick MD

Our store is a 9,000 square foot facility featuring the areas largest selection of real rocks, minerals, fossils, and more! It also is the home of our science education center.  As many of you know, we are far more then just a rock shop, we are also a science educational company too! Our retail division helps fund our efforts to inspire "kids of all ages" in the sciences, and we greatly appreciated your support!

Grand Opening Celebration!

We are extremely excited to open our brand-new Science Education Center. Starting on October 21st, It will be available for the public to visit, private events, school field trips, birthday parties, and other special events. Mark your calendars and be sure to come out to be a part of our grand opening celebration and all the fun and educational experiences we have planned for that day.

The GTC Rock Shop and our GTC Science Education Center is located within the Francis Scott Key Mall in Frederick, MD. It is conveniently located directly from the Barnes and Noble mall entrance and near Sears and Dick's Sporting Goods. All sales help support Geologic Times Corporations science educational efforts!

Monday & Tuesday: 12:00 to 8:00pm
Wednesday & Thursday: 11:00 to 8:00pm
Friday & Saturday: 10:00am to 9:00pm
Sunday: 12:00 to 6:00pm
